• Determine a location for the baby unit that will provide the best view of your baby in his/her cot. 
• Place the baby unit on a flat surface, such as a dresser, bureau, or shelf or mount the unit to a wall securely using the keyhole slots under the stand. 

PLEASE NEVER place the baby unit or cords within the cot. 

The baby unit is pre-registered to your parent unit. You do not need to register it again unless the baby unit loses its link with the parent unit. To re-register your baby unit, or register a new baby unit, follow the procedures below: 

1. Press the Menu button and the menu bar will pop up. 
2. Press the < LEFT button or > RIGHT button until the camera icon is highlighted, and the – (delete) / +(add) /(view) / (scan) menu will pop up. 
3. Press the + UP button or – DOWN button to select + (add) and press the OK button to confirm. 
4. Camera 1 / 2 / 3 / 4 will pop up. Press the + UP button or – DOWN button to select the desired camera, and press the OK button to start searching for a camera unit.  Note: If a camera is currently paired with the parent unit, its camera location (with an * beside it) cannot be selected for a new registration. 
5. Press and hold the PAIR button on the bottom of the baby unit until the parent unit finds the camera, beeps and PAIR OK appears on the screen. The video from the camera will then appear. 

Note: A camera can only be registered to one parent unit at any one time. 

You can turn on or off the parent unit screen without powering off the parent unit. You can still hear sound from the baby unit:

• Short press the power button on the parent unit to turn off the screen. 
• Press any key on the parent unit to turn on the screen again. 

This is to disable the live camera video feed by blocking the camera lens. 

• Press the knob to release the lock. 
• You can move the protector to its open or closed position after the lock is released. 
• When you hear the click sound the protector is at its proper positions. 

IMPORTANT: 

1. Make sure the privacy protector does not cover the camera lens when in use. 
2. Sound is NOT disabled when the protector covers the camera lens. 

The baby unit has infra-red LEDs for picking up clear images in the dark.  

When the built-in light sensor on the front of the unit detects a low level of ambient light, the LEDs will activate automatically and the screen on the parent unit will display in black and white. The moon icon will be displayed at the top of the screen. 

You can adjust the brightness of the parent unit screen from Level 1 to Level 5.  

1. Press the menu button when the parent unit is in camera viewing mode. Sun icon is displayed, press the OK button.  
2. Press UP or DOWN to adjust the brightness.  
3. Press the OK button to confirm your selection. 

Turn on and set the alarm when it is currently off:  

1. Press the menu button when the parent unit is in camera viewing mode.  
2. Press < or > to scroll to the clock icon and press the OK button.  
3. Press UP or DOWN to choose ON, then press the OK button.  
4. Press UP or DOWN to choose 2h, 3h, 4h, 5h or 6h. (The default setting is Alarm OFF.)  
5. Press the OK button to confirm your selection.  
6. If an alarm time is selected, the clock will appear on the display and, after the alarm time is reached, the parent unit will beep about every 10 seconds and flash the alarm icon, until any button is pressed. 

1. Press the menu button when the parent unit is in camera viewing mode.  
2. Press < or > to scroll to the screen icon and press the OK button.  
3. Press UP or DOWN to select 60m, 30m, 5m or OFF for the parent unit video to turn off after 5 mins, 30 mins or 60 mins if no buttons have been pressed.  
4. Press the OK button to confirm your selection.  
5. The audio will remain on, and you can press any button to turn the video screen back on.  

Remarque: If there are multiple cameras in scan mode, the audio will switch about every 30 seconds.
